Here are 10 of the essential baby items to buy that will make your motherhood more enjoyable.

1. Water Wipes – 12 pack

Water wipes for the win. I absolutely love these organic and soft wipes because they are made with care for babies sensitive skin. They also are one of the only wipes that do not dry out midway through using the box. They are made to care for babies in a gentle and hygienic way. Get the water wipes!

2. Maxi-Cosi Peri 180 Rotating Infant Car Seat – Color of choice

This car seat might feel like a top tier choice in terms of cost, but SO worth the convenience when transporting your new baby. This seat is ideal for everyday travel and makes things so much smoother for everyone. There is also a stroller system that functions with the infant carrier and can be converted once baby has outgrown their infant seat. The safety specs alone bring the MVP title to this seat. Check it out – you will be glad you did.

3. Baby Bond Bassinet Sleeper 3 in 1 with mattress and sheet included

This bassinet system is one of the cutest versions that I’ve seen. I wish this color had been available with our first two, it’s much more aesthetically appealing than our gray version. This bassinet has breathable mesh that allows for peace of mind throughout the night. It also includes a mattress and crib sheet, which we all know ends up being the last thing on your baby list!

4. MomCozy Portable Milk Warmer

I have to admit, this is one of those baby finds that makes you stop in your tracks. How was this not invented and on the market years ago? For Moms who are breast feeding, this is a life saver and allows you to leave the house without being concerned about the liquid gold spoiling while you’re out. It’s also a game changer for Moms using formula and aren’t able to warm up a bottle on the fly. The best part about this little number is that it’s safety features knock it out of the park. You will never overheat a bottle like you could have with the boiler bottle warmers. It’s just a nifty thermos that can crank it up if necessary. Highly recommend this one.

5. Lansinoh Nipple Cream

This one is such a tried and true staple for every one of my post-partum days that I couldn’t not include it. Nothing overly fancy here, just the good old stuff that is made the way you need it to be. If you are breast feeding or trying to pump, those areas will appreciate your TLC with this cream.

6. Momcozy V1 Hospital grade wearable breast pump

Alright, this system changed my entire view on breast feeding and pumping through my entire second child’s year. The portable pumps and ease of use are beyond life changing. I had always wanted to exclusively breast feed and with my first it just didn’t go the way I envisioned. If I’d had these pumps though, I know it would have been easier at the very least to continue past 6 months. The suction was a main concern of mine, but they work just as well as the old school spectra hook up to the wall. And your body adjusts, which in turn makes the process a little less painful. You will not regret these.

7. Comotomo Newborn starter set

Includes newborn or level 1 nipple sizes and 4 sets of bottles; two 5 oz. bottles and two 8 oz. bottles. We used these every other feeding to help determine which bottles and time frames were more nourishing for both of my kiddos. The thing I love most about these bottles is the nipple is very realistic and stretchy. The bottle itself is plastic but a thicker material that doesn’t overheat or create concern over what heated plastics may be working their way to baby. These are my favorite recommendation on this list.

8. FiveWillowwise Power Rocking Nursery Chair with Recliner

Okay, to be honest this is not one I’m able to recommend through experience. However, I can’t imagine anything better than the chair you spend almost half the day using, being this accommodating. Sincerely, spend the money here, because I promise on those long nights you won’t regret the investment. True winner, here.

9. Little Sleepies Full Zippy

I can’t even tell you how many zippies I’ve bought over the years that have grown and stretched with my babies well beyond the size range. The bamboo viscose fabric really stretches the initial price tag. They are so comfortable and cozy you’ll keep adding more.

10. Loevin Muslin Baby Lounger

Very similar to the original Snuggle Me Lounger, but a lot more sturdy than the early lounge model. I love the variety of colors; my advise is always have 2-3 on hand. We’ve learned the hard way with a blowout or two, there is no easy way to clean a fabric lounger. Definitely a much more ideal price range for one of these essentials.
